As a president Pooja is very passionate and determined about women’s health mental and physical as menstruation is a major part of a woman, her mission is to create the right education and information to all classes and ages of women across India and bring in a substantial change with no fear and regret.

Her zeal is to bring awareness and positively regarding menstrual health and wellness. As she wants to eliminate the taboo and stigma attached towards periods.
“When women take care of themselves, they become their best friend” quoted by Maya Angelou Pooja Vishnu is a mother of 2 kids, wife and business woman. Co partnered with her husband Vishnu in NAARA Kia motors in JP Nagar, Bangalore.
Born and raised in Bangalore, after completing her Masters in Information Technology in Management from Mount Carmel University moved to the US. She worked for a couple of Multi-National companies as a financial executive for over 5 years.
Settled in US for 14 years, after moving back to India she feels the need to give back to the society in some way and making a difference. She is a strong believer in women’s rights and equality.
As a President of WOW She would definitely encourage, influence and involve in the upliftment and education for women’s menstrual health and hygiene.
As a President of the world of women, she immensely values the opportunity to head the organization. She believes in taking steps towards gender equality. There will be a risk of failure, but greater risk is holding back, so believes in working harder and smarter to uplift women.
The most important thing is to keep the organization’s focus on its mission to educate and empower women about menstrual hygiene and management with a strong grass root revolution against the taboo engulfed with low awareness and lack of facilities.
Contentment is what she always value. “I am grateful to the universe for all what I have achieved and for all that I have found in Life. And it’s my pleasure to give back the best to society “

She has master’s degree in Business Management and a Diploma in Jewellery Design and Manufacturing from JPDC, Delhi. Running her brand for 15years with great passion, she is constantly inspired by learning, experimenting and above all by giving back to society in every possible way.
She spent over 10 years at Ladies circle, women’s wing of Round Table India, a non-profit organisation that focuses on social change using education, health care and skill training interventions. She has gained
immense pleasure and experience working and networking with different NGO as the Chairperson at ladies’ circle for one year. She Also won awards in the organisation for her work.
Working for social causes for the past 15 years, Shikha has been associated with acclaimed social initiatives like Enfold, Parinaam, Global concern India etc.,.
He social work extended toward women ‘s education. She has helped educate underprivileged children and converted many slum children to school going children.
She is an optimistic person and believe that whatever happens, happens for good. She loves to always learn new things and love Sketching, Dancing and Singing.

The Indian society attaches many myths and taboos to menstruation in women, which undermines the role of a women in the society as an equal. As part of WOW I hope educate young girls and boys regarding menstruation and do away with the myths and taboos surrounding it .
A Computer Graduate by education currently works as an Image Consultant where I help my clients create their Presence in their everyday life or while taking on any challenges so that they can operate from their highest self-awareness and put their confident selves forward.
Having struggled with my period issues, I know personally the challenges girls face when it comes to periods, the pain not only physical but also psychological can be daunting, combine with it all the taboos the society attaches, it can be frustrating and in the long run affect a young girls confidence.
Educating people about periods, more so breaking myths and taboos that surround them is a way to undo these issues, and that’s where my association with WOW comes in, I am happy to be associated with such a dedicated team of people working towards this cause and doing my part in spreading awareness.
Yashodhara Shroff is the Chairperson and Managing Director of ffolio (ABC Consolidated P Ltd, Bangalore) – South India’s first and one of India’s leading designer wear boutiques, established in 1991. It has housed all the leading designer labels of the country as well as International Brands. It has the distinction of being the first point of retail of several of India’s leading names, such as JJ Valaya, Anamika Khanna, Jason Cherian etc. Through the years Yashodhara has succeeded in making ffolio synonymous with promoting new talent and does so even today. She has had the distinction of establishing several firsts in retail marketing and promotional campaigns, which have subsequently become standard in the Indian fashion retail industry.
Yashodhara was the Chairperson of the FICCI Ladies Organization – Bangalore Chapter in the year 2018-19. FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) is the Ladies wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Yashodhara is currently on the Executive Committee of Bangalore International Centre. BIC is a socially conscious enlightened organisation that fosters intellectual activity, dialogue, cultural enterprise and innovation.
Yashodhara has studied at Northwestern University, USA as well as the Art Institute of Chicago, USA and holds a BS in economics from St. Xavier’s College in Calcutta University. Yashodhara’s primary and secondary schooling was at the prestigious Modern High School for Girls in Kolkata and has been a member of the President of India Girl Guides.
Yashodhara would like to create awareness about menstrual hygiene, since this is a subject which is not easily discussed. So Yashodhara became part of the NGO WOW which does exactly this. This would give her an opportunity to educate young women so they are able to understand themselves better and thereby lead happier lives.
I am Priya Saraogi,a home maker by heart mother of 3 wonderful children and passionate about cooking and innovating new recipes.
Started a home run kitchen under the brand Sabroso catering vegetarian food for different palates.
Finished my double major in Psychology and Sociology from Mumbai,happily settled in Bangalore and enjoy serving the society in any way possible.
Wow is a wonderful organization,educating females regarding the menustral hygiene and health.This will definitely make their lives easier and break the traditional taboos and raise awareness about their well being.
Akshika Poddar, Is a wife, mother of 3 boys and the Founder of Rareism, a premium womenswear clothing brand, operating under the banner of The House of Rare. She completed her graduation from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, New Delhi in English Honours. Following this degree, she pursued a diploma in Interior Design from Jenson and Nicholson, also in New Delhi. In her initial years after studying, she worked in a garment export company as an intern. As a hobby, she also took up interior design projects on the side. While both of these fields intrigued her and interested her, she finally chose to build her career in the clothing sector – in an area that she felt immense passion and a need to innovate.
Her travelling around the world has affected the way she perceives styles. She seeks adventure, unique experiences and learning in her travels.
At Wow she is helping engage more women and educating the rural as well as the underprivileged women about menstrual health & hygiene. Her key area of responsibility this year is to create awareness…
