On a warm December morning the members of WOW eagerly assembled at St.Marys School -Hennur, Bangalore. It is a school started by Prema Jyothi Trust. The founders of Prema Jyothi are motivated by a strong desire to bring light and love into he lives of those who are socially ostracised and ignored.
It was our first corporate sponsored event, thanks to Pega Systems for their generous donation. The event was possible because of a generous contribution by M/S Pega Systems, who donated towards the distribution of kits for 100 children.
Eager faces of children filled the auditorium as they waited in anticipation…..! A solemn lighting of the lamp followed by the musical rendition of an invocation song by the students kick started the event. The programme ended with the distribution of kits by the Pega Volunteers. It was received with a lot of happiness by the children. The session was indeed a befitting way to bring to an end the season of giving & joy.
